Hello my name is Shermana Zumwalt. I have worked in the Food Service Industry my entire adult life. And for years it has really aggravated me that as a Waitress my employer is only required to pay our hourly wage of $2.13 hr. So back in 1991 when Federal Minimum Wage was $4.25hr. And now here it is 2011, Federal Minimum Wage is $7.75hr. Then how come the government still allows our employers to only have to pay us $2.13hr.
