We, the undersigned, support the proposals by the Edinburgh Academical Club for a new stand, club facilities, improved (rugby and cricket) pitches, museum and shops at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh. We also commend their proposals for the upgrading of sports pitches in Inverleith Park.

These proposals for Raeburn Place will provide the quality of playing, training and spectator facilities that are needed for a Premiership rugby club and these facilities will also encourage increased participation in sport both throughout the community of north Edinburgh and in general.
