1603 Brennan Browne92352The concept of 'animal rights' values the simple premise that ALL living creatures have a "right" to be allowed to live their lives as originally intended; without victimization--free from man's brutality and exploitation. It is a right that EVERY being strives for.

1613 Wendy McKiernan98569I found my bunny who was dumped. He was skin and bones due to being over-run with parasites. Shame on PetSmart!! There are far too many bunnies who need a good home. PetSmart should not be selling them. But, it's all about the almighty buck!! I think I'll have to picket PetSmart.

1618 Kira Vincent77006Absolutely no one should be selling animals as if they were items to be thrown away when they are "no longer useful", or "annoying". I urge Petsmart not to sell rabbits. To do so will only contribute to an already serious problem of overpopulation/animal dumping. Help save the many bunnies stuck in shelters awaiting certain death. Adopt out rescued, spayed/neutered bunnies only!!
1619 AnonymousAnonymousI work voluntarily for an animal shelter - I have seen first hand that many many rabbits are dumped, incredibly badly treated and that many people have no idea at all how to look after them. Rabbits should not be sold in pet shops - it encourages impulse buying and leads to suffering - it's as simple as that.
1620 shannon morgan75067How can Petsmart be so hypocritical? They hold adoptions for dogs and cats, but the third largest problem with overpopulation is RABBITS! Their spin letter is ridiculous; it's obviously about the almighty dollar, made on the backs of the suffering animals. PetSTUPID, I won't be coming back.

1622 Ana Claudia Silva04580002 BrazilNo animal should be sold... PetSmart owners, board of directors and all executive officers should think about making money selling their kids. It sounds coll, isn't it?

1626 Enid Breakstone, The Queenie Foundation, Inc.06040PetsMart promised, years ago, not to sell companion animals. Just another corporation breaking its promise, where the bottom line is king. They say they care about homeless animals. Most of those rabbits will be homeless within six months and then the rabbit rescues and shelters will be inundated. We're never going to get a handle on companion animal homelessness if national chains such as PetsMart don't keep their promises.

1628 Ann Katcef21401I have rescued rabbits and I can tell you they are not ideal pets. They are not like cats and dogs and should not be bred for sale. Most of these rabbits end up living in horrible and confined conditions and it is abusive. Most are neglected. I think PetSmart can do without the few buck you might make on these animals. It will cause customers like me to shop elsewhere. As a rescuer, I have been an excellent customer of yours for years. As the owner of an advertising PR agency, I can tell you this is not a good idea.
1629 Ashley Campbell53566text above says it all... I am outraged about "Petsmart's" decision to sell rabbits in their stores. I have returned my "petPerks" card to Petsmart and now take my spending $ elsewhere.

1650 Erica & James Munton98011As bunny parents who rescued ALL of their 4 bunnies, Petsmart was great for supplies. But to sell purpose bred bunnies? Shame on you, Petsmart! Get a clue! If not, perhaps it's time to shop elsewhere.
