Anonymous | Anonymous | Up until now, I have been praising PS for their activities in supporting adoptions; the local one (in Mesa AZ,above zipcode)and 3 other adjacent PS's, have been hosts to the Bunny Rescue here for years. I buy all my pet supplies through PS, and use their foods as mainstay of 10 rabbit's diets. That will certainly change for me, as there is no middle ground. For you to support breeding, and us to fight Euthanasia...is nuts. YOU have just become the enemy, and I will not be continueing my 100.00 month purchases at your store. I will be sure to tell everyone not to support you any more either, as that is low. You are undoing a real positive effect that you had going here, and for WHAT??? To partner a few hundred bucks with rabbit breeders? I hope whoever decided to do this is held to blame. SAD!!

Lynn Larkin | 48310 | There are already far too many rabbits that are living at rescue groups. We do not need more that are being bred to be sold at your stores. Those too will end up being *dumped* when they hit their *teens* or the owner tires of them. Please to not add to the already too high of numbers of unwanted rabbits who are looking for a home.

Janine Barrera | 85258 | I have 2 rescue dogs and 4 rescue bunnies. The day I see bunnies being sold in Petsmart is the day that I leave my cart in the middle of the store and walk out. You know, there is a reason why many people CHOOSE to shop at Petsmart over PetCo and one main reason is PetSmart's love for animals and dedication to the cause of stopping euthanasia. Is PetSmart going to stop allowing rabbit rescues to hold adoption days at their store now because it will hurt their business? Lets get real, if this happens it will show that PetSmart is hypocritical and big business is more important than saving lives ! Please dont disappoint your loyal customers.

Anonymous | Anonymous | It is imperative that Petco be more compassionate and proactive in reducing the number of unwanted rabbits. Please do not be a contributer but set an example by not selling.
cheryl baranzano | 19344 | I have 19 rescued rabbits and am contacted quite a few times a month by a shelter to take another bunny because it is going to be euthanized simply because it does not have a home. If I would have known that petsmart had the space, resources and knowledge to care for and find homes for (like they seem to for the rabbits they will be selling) then these rabbits they could go there instead of being euthanized?? I will beg for their mercy as the rabbits can not; STOP THE SALE OF RABBITS AND SAVE THE LIVES OF SHELTER RABBITS. I will not shop at petsmart and will encourage everyone I know to discontinue shopping there as well. petsmart may not care but us bunny people also have cats, dogs, fish, birds, etc. that we all need supplies for.

Colleen Fox | 6230 | Please, I ask you to reconsider selling rabbits in your store. These little animals are too often abused, exploited and abandoned. There are thousands waiting for forever homes. They are precious, so please do not add to the over-population problem?!
Cat McIntire | 90249 | Please don't do this. We can't keep up with the pet store throwaways as it is. You must be aware of the kill rates in shelters, and if you're not, you need to be.
Barbra J. Kyker | 37862 | I am not animal lover, but I do not like to see any of God's animals hurt in any way.
Mitch & Christin kates | 18929 |
Janie Landes | 18917 | Please do not add to the problem of homeless bunnies by selling them in your stores. Please continue to support adoptions instead. Many of those very bunnies that we try to get adopted were purchased at pet supply stores such as yours only to end up on the street, homeless or worse. The same consideration that you have thoughtfully given to not sell dogs and cats, you must also give to rabbits. They are just as much a house pet as they are and just as much at risk. Please do not add to the problem. Stand up and be a part of the solution instead. Keep with helping adoption groups and do not sell rabbits.

| 77 | Michele Carrion | 20670 | It is irresponsible to sell rabbits while thousands of rabbits are euthanized every year. Also, the rabbits that you will sell come from "rabbit mills" similar to the dreaded "puppy mills". These poor creatures lead horrific lives all in the name of profit. There is no excuse for selling rabbits in your store. Instead invite shelters to bring in adoptable rabbits. The revenue, as we all know, is from the supplies after the rabbit goes home, not from the initial purchase.
Please reconsider your decision to add to the misery of pet store animals. |

Holly Marback | 77378 | Think of the rabbits in shelters before financially encouraging mill breeding of rabbits by selling them in PetSmart stores.
Anne Torres | 63121 | I am very sad that the one petstore I continued to use has stooped to the level of supporting Marshall Farm a notorious animal mill who also supplies research animals-beagle/ferrets for unconscionable experiments that are unnecessary. I can no longer spend all my pet purchase money there and will have to go elsewhere until Petsmart realized the extreme cost this will create-not a profit for anyone. I know I own companion rabbits and foster as well- so I am an informed consumer. I will be sure to tell others to boycott as well! Come to your senses and I will come back-maybe, as sacred trust has aleady been broken and you are no better than Petco now, who also lied about rabbit sales.
June H Booth | 70461 | Please resist the temptation to sell rabbits in your stores. Instead ask people to adopt a rabbit. There are so many animals needing homes already why breed more, plese run adoption programs instead of selling rabbits or any animal. Thank you..
Shari Clevenger | 98686 | I will no longer patronize PetSmart as long as they continue to sell rabbits.

Denise Donovan | 48867 | Please don't sell bunnies in your petsmart stores.
Rebecca | 33328 | We have enough sad petmills and breeder that sell rabbits and produce overporpulation and pets that are abused, dumped and abandoned without a home. Please don't add on to this misery by selling even more of those poor, misunderstood pets at Petsmart!
Anonymous | Anonymous | Please do not sell rabbits. There are already so many being euthanized in shelters, and the more that are sold, the fewer homes there will be to adopt those that are rescued. Please help us to save lives by not selling them.
