Comments: We need more people like this in Boston. It would be a shame to once again lose a young, vital member of the community for financial reasons. Penny wise and pound foolish.

Comments: Rabbi Schwartz besides being a invaluable asset to the Boston community has personally helped me in my observance of halachic Judaism on a number of occasions. It is in the best interest of the Boston Jewish community to see to it that Rabbi Scwartz can stay in Boston.

Comments: We have begun to witness a positive transformation in the Torah observant community of Greater Boston. From the elementary through high school age children to the efforts to reach out, engage and unite all segments of our community- we are experiencing a change for the good. There are both lay and Rabbinic figures committed to both preserving and enriching Jewish life. Rabbi Chaim Schwartz is one of those people who is here for the klal and is making a qualitative difference. He interfaces with all people with a genuine positive regard which creates greater Shalom. I hope the Vaad will reconsider and offer Rabbi Schwartz a reasonable package.

Comments: Rabbi Schwartz, You're making a good move leaving a traif organization like the KVH/Vaad Of Massachusetts. Anyone who knows anything about kashrus and yiddishkite will tell you that they're laughing stock worldwide. By leaving Boston for a legitimate organization, you MAY have a chance at repairing your reputation. Tzeischem L'sholom! Shimon

Comments: During the summer between my first and second year studying in yeshiva in Israel, Rabbi Schwartz took the time to learn with me each morning before or after shachrit while I was in Boston. When he came to Israel on a visit during my second year he made sure to meet up with me and see how I was doing. Due to the lack of recources available for post-high school Bostonians who are chozer b'teshuva, I feel it is safe to say that if it were not for Rabbi Schwartz, I most probably would have lost most of what I gained from my first year in yeshiva. He kept my summer and connection to Judaism strong.

Comments: It would be an enormous shame to lose such a vital asset to the KVH hashgacha organization. Without Rabbi Schwartz, I don't see how the Vaad will continue to operate. Notwithstanding the other issues facing the Vaad, the loss of such a knowledgeable, experienced, and important Rabbi will be a huge blow. We should avoid it if we can.

Comments: How can the Vaad keep without such a wonderful person at list someone really cares about Kashrus and this is Rabbi Chaim Schwartz. All the caterars do what they need to do and the Vaad let them go. Rabbi Chaim Schwartz is what we need to trust the Vaad. Its a sham that the Vaad didnt have someone like Rabbi Chaim Schwartz before. If Rabbi Chaim Schwartz will leave - No one will eat vaah! GO Rabbi Schwartz!

Comments: Rabbi Schwartz has performed nobly and tirelessly for halachically proper kashruth in the Boston community. As a member of the Vaad HaKashruth, he has gained the confidence of all segments of Boston Jewry that consider kashruth an inviolable part of our lives. It would be tragic for our unity were we to lose this great man.
