Name: Wayne Langman on Feb 22, 2006Comments: Above all, BC Ferries must adopt a collaborative approach to its stake holders if it wishes to be a successful business enterprise. Uncaring, bottom-line driven monopolies can only survive if the customers are willing to be abused - and we are not!Flag

Name: Lovena Harvey on Feb 23, 2006Comments: Being a resident of Cortes Island and dependant on two ferries, we are at your mercy. Please have the kindness to allow us to keep our communter ticket books, to allow captains to fill the ferry before leaving the dock, replace the seniors and disabled seating on the deck of the Quadra ferry and please don't raise the fares beyond the reach of island families.Flag

Name: Tom Bohart on Feb 23, 2006Comments: Sometimes I take the ferry every week, then I might not use it for a couple of months, especially in the summer when the service is inadequate for a one day comute, so a ninety day expiry date would mean a constant loss to me and my family.Flag

Name: Michael Mahoney on Feb 23, 2006Comments: I did live on Cortes Island, plan to return on retirement, and am currently doing business on Cortes and Quadra Island. The major concern I have is the cost that permanent Island residents have to pay to commute. Fare increases have risen to fast and are far to high. Business on the Islands don't need any more increases in overhead.Flag

Name: Michael McIvor on Feb 23, 2006Comments: I want to remind Mr. Hahn that the legislation that created his Corporation requires BC Ferries consult with citizens and their elected representatives. The intent of consult implies the ferry users and their representatives should have subustantive input into decision-making and policy development. I urge Mr. Hahn to live up to his legislated compulsion to consult.Flag
