6 years ago Comments: It has been published that the PVRPD will be voting on the proposal to place a dog park at the site of the Camarillo Community Center, Headquarters of the Park District and that the Park Board of Directors will be turning down their proposal. The Board expressed openly that they recognize the opposition of the community and that that they do not want to ram something down the throats of the community. Board Members need to acknowledge that the opposition to the dog park is formed upon health, safety of children, school activities, noise, disruption of other park activities, traffic, and other home owner rights and issues. Please vote "NO" and acknowledge the concerns of the opposition.

6 years ago Comments: I am strongly opposed to the proposed dog park location. Not only do my children attend the adjacent elementary school, they meet at the park weekly for a standing play date with a large group of friends. For many reasons, including the safety of our children, the Community Center Park is not the place for a dog park.
