There were many good things that came from the One Saturday Morning programming block. Many good shows. Many good shorts. It was the only compelling and understandable reason to get up before 8:00 on a Saturday, and the only good reason to stay up from there. Even some older kids and teens remember it. Some only caught the tail end of that era. In September, 2002, the programming block was canceled. In its place stands a bunch of unrealistic sit-coms, a few cartoons chock full of horrible role models, and Power Rangers as the main action. We need to sign this petition, and then tell our friends, coworkers, neighbors, and, for a few of us, even classmates, to do the same. The more people that sign this, the better.The better for the kids, the better for the teens, the better for anyone who misses One Saturday Morning.
