AnonymousLetting politicians vote on this is like letting the defendant decide whether he is guilty.
k jezakPlease do not support a bail out bill. The blame lies squarely with Democrat policies to fund loans to those that are too great a financial risk. This is a golden opportunity to high light the socialist agenda of the left and its consequences, please do so. thank you Kevin Jezak
Elizabeth BrownIt is outrageous that Congress would choose to nationalize our financial system without any sort of input from the American people!

Rochelle PalmerWith far too many gutless members of Congress and Washington looking after their own best interests and ignoring the voices of those who elected them, this issue must be put on the ballot. Washington has failed us....democracy has failed us. We the People have the right to see to our best interests ourselves since those we have elected to do just that have opted to shirk their duty.
Stephen DenneyI have read the bill and I think it is a terrible bill and does not address the underlying problems as to how we got into this mess in the first place. I am not for it being passed into legislation!
Dianne ReinhardtSTOP THE BAILOUT! Signed, a very hard working nurse and small business owner who has scraped by and saved and been financially frugal and responsible for many years while others around her have spent spent spent money they never had. I refuse to pay for their poor choices.
Tom McGregorI am against this bailout and will vote against anyone on my ballot who votes for it.

Joan CarmodyThe banks will just take the money and run.
AnonymousThis is our money! Let those of us poor enough to pay taxes have it. We will pay off our debts with it and the banks will get their money back. Educational loans; credit cards; and small business loans. How can the American Government even think of paying these thieves with our money (tax dollara) and still let them make us pay off out debts to them??? This is insane!
Laura ClarkDo not threaten us with fear tactics - all too familiar as with the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq!! Our government needs to be reminded - "Of the people, by the people and for the people" not of the corporate CEO, the foreign investor, the big bank lobbyists. If we are one nation under God with liberty and justice for all - let us have our justice - you are bailing out the banks - what happened to audits and regulations??? We demand and deserve the facts. Government has depleted our Social Security fund - they borrow and spend - and preach that our economy is strong. Give me a break. Look at the debt - look at the number of unemployed and uninsured. Are our borders protected? We will move out of this country if we have to. Listen to the people of America.
AnonymousI am very disturbed by how little our elected officials care about the American people.

RONALD W. FRUINput the bailout issue on the November ballot.
BerneredfeathersAs a Canadian I feel I have the right to comment since our Mr harper is a Bush clone. Many of the things Americans have done wrong the Canadian government has followed suit with. In any case I think the "bailout" is the worst case of insider trading that has ever hit the market. I would expect that everyone in the U.S. Senate and the Congress are shareholders, so I am not surprised. That dose not make all shareholders bad, because some of them voted against it.
