| 151 | Andy Blohm | Graduate Student | The current metro stop is ridiculously located. The purple line running down campus drive makes sense for students commuting to campus. |
| 152 | RUIPING HOU | UM, College Park | Purple line is very important for commuters |

| 155 | Anonymous | Graduate Student | Dear Pres. Mote;
Do you really think college students cannot cross streets safely? Stop taking this so personally. Hoping that you remove your head from your rectum in the near future,
Respectfully yours,
- A UMD Attendee Who Can, In Fact, Cross Streets Safely |
| 156 | Anonymous | Father of UM student | I strongly support the Campus Drive alignment for the Purple Line, which MTA has shown will benefit a far greater number of university riders, thereby reducing local traffic as much as possible. In general, I also strongly support brining the Purple Line to College Park as soon as possible. Both my wife and I commute regularly to Bethesda, and our son is an undergraduate at UM currently living in Silver Spring. All 3 of us will all use the Purple Line regularly. |

| 176 | Marcus S. | Undergrad | BUILD THE D**N PURPLE LINE ALREADY. in all honesty, this should have been a HEAVY RAIL LINE, but we're in Maryland, so what does one expect (unlike NoVA where they can actually provide a heavy rail extension with the new Silver Line to Tysons Corner ans Dulles Airport). Anyway, BUILD THE LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT WAY ALREADY! |
| 177 | David J. Murphy | UMUC student | With a campus as large as Maryland's in a location as important as College Park near a city like DC, it ought to be a crime to deny adequate rail transit options. The Purple Line running through the campus can only be good for the school and the city of College Park. It would be a gross mistake diverting the rail away from the center of campus. |

| 193 | Joel Elvery | Alumnus | As someone who wasted many hours getting from the Green Line to campus, I think that the Purple Line should be on campus. Why would the university want to create the same problem again? Putting it on campus would cut traffic. Criminals don't travel to victims on public transportation - it's too hard to escape quickly! |
| 194 | Ken Firestone | Alumni | |
| 195 | Timothy Lin | Alumni | A light Rail is not good enough,the whole purple line should be heavy duty metro to accommodate for growth |
| 196 | Aaron S. | Alumni/Donor | As an alumni and donor to the University, I am well aware of the need for better Metro access. Citing safety as a reason against having a Metro on campus is not valid. It is much safer to have access to Metro ON the closely monitored campus as opposed to subjecting those affiliated with the University to potential crime on the way to, and at, the College Park Metro station. |
