We, the undersigned, respectfully request the US government and military to honor Privates Andrew Long of Conway,Arkansas and Private Quintan Ezeagwula of Jacksonville, Arkansas, by awarding them the Purple Heart for injuries received during an attack perpetrated by a self-described enemy of the United States military. We see no difference between those injured and dying during Americas overseas war on terrorism, except the fact that in this case the enemy came to America to attack uniformed military personnel. Both these proud soldiers are entitled to the same honors and respect given to all American military personnel killed or wounded at the hands of the enemy. We hope those with the power to see this request granted will agree that it is the right and honorable thing to do.

An attack on our own soil is still an attack. They served their country and deserve the recognition just like anyone else.

Ridiculous that this has taken so long. They were targeted because they were soldiers. Plain and simple.

Long overdue. Why are we even debating this? Give these men the respect they earned.
