I keep staring at the signature count and it feels like we are creeping toward that 2500 mark so slowly even though it is actually moving fast if that makes any sense. Can you guys just blast this link out to anyone who might actually care because if we hit this goal right now maybe we can finally force someone in charge to look at these emails and stop hiding. I keep watching the counter tick up and it is driving me crazy thinking about how we need to hit a hundred before I can finally walk into the office with something that looks like real weight behind it. Just blast this link out to anyone who will listen because I honestly cannot stop thinking about poor Marius and how we have to stop them from ever doing this again.

was this really an "inbreeding issue" or was the animal just killed for food. curious to know if the zoo is in financial trouble? If it was this moronic inbreeding issue, they couldn't build a new housing facility or sanctuary? so horrific & sad...
Fire the management. Use contraceptives not murder to manage the animals. There were offers to take the giraffe but you chose public butchering. And don't blame the gene pool, you knew so this is premeditated killing. Please work in slaughter house instead.
How could this lovely animal be slaughtered when offers of rehoming existed. This zoo needs to be shuttered. Animals in its care are in danger. The people in charge are NOT making decisions that are in the best interests of its inhabitants.
This was a senseless slaughter of a healthy giraffe. Other zoos & organizations were willing to take him & even offered them money. I do not believe that this zoo is making good decisions for their animals. They need to pay a hefty fine for killing this baby!

Copenhagen Zoo cannot get away with this unsettling display of cruelty and for upsetting so many people around the world. The zoo needs new management, a public apology, and a plan to prevent these attrocities from occurring in the future!
