This petition is a call to the leaders of the democratic world, and in particular Barrak obama and congress, to punish those soldiers who are responsible for the burning of the noble Quran in Afghanistan. To fine them and imprison them. This is not a light matter. there are over 1.5 billion muslims and when the Quran is burnt, that is an attack against every single muslim, regardless of race, nationality, sex or status. this is not a mere matter of soldiers "letting off some steam," this was a blatant and belligerent attack against every single muslim. An apology is not enough. as leaders it is your responsibility to bring to justice those who are accountable for their crimes. Hate crimes are against western laws and this was a hate crime against over a billion people from around the world.

This is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to our faith. How can they just get away with this. They need to face real consequences for what they did.
