My son will be starting 6th grade this year at a new school, The school board sent a letter stating that Sperry's or deck shoes, are the MANDATORY shoe this year. Tennis shoes will be required for P.E. I don't know to many single mother's that can afford two pairs of shoes. uniform policy is suppose to be easier for parents to provide for their children with no "name brands". The school board has NO RIGHT to DICTATE what brand I HAVE to purchase.
