most have no background in public transit and this is how they come to these totally unrealistic decisions! The only way to get dedicated funding
is to SERVE THE PATRONS the best way possible
and PROVE that the best is being done. With this,
the riders will be aware and most will vote to get
dedicated funding. The hamhanded way that SEPTA
is going about this will only anger people, turn them against SEPTA, and gaurantee than NO dedicated
will ever come from Harrisburg! |

| 413 | Fran Hazam | Riders who need to use more than one vehicle are penalized by eliminating transfers. When you don't work enough days to need a pass you need to be able to use transfers to get across the region to work. I cannot afford to pay three fares to travel the same # of miles as someone who only pays one fare because they ride one vehicle to complete their journey.
Cutting out paper transfers is punishing working poor persons who cannot make use of a pass. |

I can afford a car and drive downtown, but I would prefer a SEPTA that actually works, gives changes, tokens, doesn’t chare for transfers. If I goto NYC I can pay 2 bucks to go just about anywhere in 5 burros but SEPTA, whatever. |
