Dolores Winnals | The price we pay on Septa is ridiculous to say the least. The possibility of having to pay even more and for less service is absurd. Why hasn't the government stepped in to stop this mess? The only people suffering is those of us who take Septa to work each day, pay our taxes and continue to get stepped on.
Jane Combrinck-Graham | Prove you care about the environment. Fund public transportation before you continue to produce your own polution
Ellen Jeannette Newton | I am a long-time supporter and user of public transportation and in Philadelphia. Also, I used public transit when I lived in both New York City and Los Angeles and where fares in both of these cities are more economical than they are here. Perhaps, if SEPTA looked at the way fare rates in other large cities are structured they could find a way to make ours affordable and attract more riders, thus increasing revenue in a way that is a win-win situation for all involved. Certainly, New York's transit cards that can be loaded with any amount above a couple of dollars, used by interchangeably by males and females, as many times sequentially as desired.

RUTH BALTER | ADEQUATE SUPPORT FOR PHILA. TRANSIT IS NOT FOR PHILLY ONLY. ALL STATE LEGISLATORS SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT WITHOUT A THRIVING PHILLY, THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA IS IRREPARABLY HURT!
Patrice | This pay hike is ludicrous. You say that New York and another city rates have gone up twice, but I bet they are not pay as much as we are still.

Roby Jacobs | I have been commuting to the Stapeley in Germantown Retirement Community where I am the Social Worker for 16 years. Our residents also use public transport, or Shared Rides through Connect. It is imperative that enough dedicated funding and adequate services and schedules are maintained. Please govern with wisdom and care for us and the broader population! and resolve the problems of funding & services !
Harold Cohen | Give us a guaranteed source of funds for mass transit.

Rachel Fichtenbaum | Public transportation is good for society and good for the envirnoment.
Susan DeJarnatt | My public transportation costs just effectively doubled due to the elimination of transfers in Philadelphia. This is absurd and horrible to do to low income residents, students, and others dependent on public transport. It is horrible for the environment too as now it is clearly cheaper for me to drive to work even though that puts more pollution in the air. Please fix this!
Katherine L Yaksick | Normally, I have no problem with free transit for our Senators and Representatives. However, since public transit is vital to our State's economy and fulfills a need for many residents who cannot drive and/or cannot afford cars, adequate funding must be provided for public transit. NO FREE RIDE UNTIL THE PUBLIC RIDES, without cutbacks in service or fare increases.

Andrew Tieu | Septa chrages too much for the many citizens who transfer through a large array of buses or trains daily. Fees multiply quickly, and make lower or middle class citizens to go out of the way spending money for education. I thought we rode Septa to save money, and the fares furthermore increase!
