The exact reason is unknown and since June 2012 (release of the Application) SCEE never spoke to this. It's ridiculous that such a big company like SCEE respectively Google can't provide us a service to every country for the exact same device. Why shouldn't the Application work on the PS VITA System, if it works flawlessly on any Smartphones in any country?
Please help the communtiy to change this, by signing the petition.

I really thought this might just be a quiet complaint between a few friends but seeing this grow is honestly overwhelming. Your messages about being blocked from using your devices are incredibly eye opening and they show exactly why this matters. I am just a person who wanted to watch videos on my handheld console so thank you for carrying this forward.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this cause. It was just a small idea meant to fix a simple frustration but your energy has turned it into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

come on guys just let us have the app. its 2014 already.
Ridiculous that I have to use my phone instead. Why sell the system here if you aren't gonna support the apps
it makes no sense to block this in switzerland when the hardware is the same everywhere. so annoying
