Laura Hershey | Please reconsider the elimination of these valuable programs.
Catrina Litzenburg | These programs are good investments to the field of psychology, the community, and Western Michigan University in general. Students strive to be a part of these programs. Please don't take that away from us.

Dr. James H. Kaye | The doctoral program in clinical psychology at WMU is hightly regarded and effective in producing high-level researchers and practictioners in cognitive-behavioral techniques. The field desparately need such graduates, and the elimination of this program is a defeat for all patients and clients who suffer from lack of effective services in Michigan and elsewhere.

charles brandt | I believe that the elimination of these programs at wmu is a decision which will negatively impact the whole department and our school as a whole. I beg all involved with making this decision final to reconsider by not only thinking it through, but by looking at the concrete facts. Please help us by not eliminating this program. Thank you for your time.

Jessica Fouch | I am signing because I am a psych major here at WMU, previously considering WMU's I/O psych program for my masters. Eliminating the program would effect not only me but all those involved in psych here at Western. It would be a huge mistake to eliminate the program.
Dennis Halalay | It makes little sense to eliminate a program that has served the students at WMU well and has served the local community in the process.

Diane Kalata | I talk to my high school students about many things and mentioned that there was talk about eliminating several psychology programs at WMS. A Junior perked up and commented that he thought WMU was known for their strong psychology department and wondered how WMU could do that. Your future applicants are more aware of what is out there and available (or not) to them than you may be aware of . Other programs may suffer as a result of these proposed cuts!!

Juan Lechago, M.D., Ph.D. | It is astonishing to see how one of the prime programs in the US is slated for elimination without apparent regard for the negative impact on the school and the community. The ripple effects of eliminating this program will undoubtedly be felt by other departments, such as Applied Behavior Analysis, which shares a number of Faculty members with the Department of Clinical Psychology. I trust that due thought will be given to such impact on what is one of the flagship departments in Western Michigan University.

Brehan Kuhn | This is ridiculous. Behavioral psychology is what put WMU on the map!!! This is a huge mistake affecting not only me as an alumnus, but to all of the future students of WMU.
Andrew Holoka | The number one behavioral school in the nation cancelling two of its psychology grad programs? Unreal.
Stephanie Sheridan |
Judy Johnson | I was an I/O psychology program graduate in 1995 & have helped over 500 business leaders since- the program provides valuable expertise that our business community needs.
Peggy Litzenburg | I am signing this as a highly concerned parent of a psychology student, and taxpayer. Please save these programs!

William H, Ahearn, Ph.D., BCBA | The Behavioral programs at Western have helped to establish behavior analysis as the strong and prosperous field it is today. These programs deserve support and resources not the difficulties they are now facing.
