George A. Thompson, PhD, AVP Outpatient Rehabilitation ManorCare Health Services | I strongly urge you to abandon any plans to eliminate Industrial and Clinical training in Behavior Analysis! To be sure, my ability to perform in healthcare operations would not be possible without the Behavior Analytic traing I recived at WMU and I am constantly confronted by frustration that there are not more graduates being produced with Clinical & Industrial Behavior Analytic expertise. As the director of a $50 million healthcare division for a publicly traded $3 billion company, I believe this plan is a bad business decision! If anythng you should be looking for ways to grow these programs. Please feel free to email me if you's like to speak about these plans.
Molly Dollahan, MSW | I am STRONGLY opposed to the suggestion re: closing of these programs. It is a very dangerous idea. As a proud, Kalamazoo resident, if I were to pursue a Ph.D, I would have considered attending WMU. In doing so, my student $$$ would have contributed both to the WMU and Kzoo economies. If valuable programs such as these are cut, I would have no choice but to commute to other universities such as MSU or my alma mater, U-M. The decision to cut these programs only hurts the present & future of the WMU & our local AND global communities! This is a critical situation! Please reconsider & save these invaluable programs! Kalamazoo is now a national leader re: higher education. Why not keep it that way? The world is watching.
Don Cooney | The Psychology program has rendered tremendous service to the community. As a City Commissioner I urge these programs be restored

Kendra Combs | It baffles me how anyone could even consider closing down any of WMU's psychology programs. It will cause hurt not only to the people involved in these programs but also to all the people who will never be able to be assisted by the great works done by the people at WMU's psyc. programs.

Alexander Timothy Milks | I wholeheartedly believe the Judith Bailey has taken it upon herself to run Western Michigan University, a place of education and growth, as some sort of perverted Business. We must take it upon ourselves as students, for us, for future students. To recall her before she can do any more damage to our instution of learning.

Langdon T Tower | Please do not cut one of WMUs programs that actually works.

Judy L. Agnew | The I/O program at WMU is one of a kind. It contributes not only invaluable research in the field of OBM, but also well trained students. The organization I work for, Aubrey Daniels International, has relied on both for the good work that we do.

Kathleen L. Root | To WMU President: Please reconsider your decision to eliminate this program. Seems you have the best psych department in the country...so why would you want to drop this program???
Anonymous | I do not attend Western, but as a former psychology major I feel that it would be a shame if these programs were dropped and not available at all to the students that attend the school.
