Koji Takeshima | I believe that the decision of elimination of clinical and industorial psychology will hurt not only WMU, but also the community that the future graduates will serve.

| 55 | norman Braksick | I cannot imagine deleting these programs in psychology. Your graduates are in high demand from both industry and consulting firms and you decide to delete a rather low cost program to The University. This is not a good decision for the established prestige of Western Michigan University.

Erin Seligson Petscher | It would be among the worst decisions WMU could make to drop these programs.
Dr. Jason Otto | The classes in the I/O program were key in building my understanding of behavioral systems (as a BS, MA and PhD student). The well rounding I gained from the OBM graduate courses is very valuable in my work as a Behavior Analysis Director today. Having had the WMU I/O graduate courses also gives me a great sense of pride because it is so well known and respected, and the thought of closing either program for so-called lack of value is terrible and irrational. That is not the way I want to remember WMU.

Scott LaTour | As both a recent graduate of WMU and a current grad. student, I cannot express just how integral keeping the Clinical and I/O programs is to maintaining the quality and integrity of Western Michigan University.

Carol Haines | As an alumna of Psychology's graduate program and recent retiree from the department, I was extremely dismayed to learn that the Clinical doctoral and the Industrial masters programs were slated for elimination. I appeal to the University to reconsider the decision to eliminate these two excellent programs.
Albert Neal | I strongly support the continuation of the doctorate program for clinical psycholoy and the master's program for industrial psychology. We need these programs!

Dennis Sullivan | Please rethink your strategy about shutting down the I/O program.

Erick Marmolejo | The development of programs with such profound impact on their respective fields, the community at large, and the university takes years of careful stewardship. Please take the time to objectively evaluate these programs before undoing the lifetime of collective effort that has gone into building these institutions.

Rita G. Johnson | As the parent of current graduate students in your clinical psychology and industrial psychology programs, you will be making a mistake in eliminating these two from your curriculum
Allison Jay | The impact that cancelling these programs would have is astronomical. It is a huge price for students, clients, families and Southwestern Michigan to pay!

Fred Schroyer | I have worked for CLG, the behavioral science consultancy, for 8 years, not as a psychologist, but as a writer. I have been privileged to write the company's history (which has intense WMU roots), and know that several of our "best & brightest" (e.g., Leslie (Wilk) Braksick) are WMU I/O grads. I know nothing of the reasons for canceling the program, and obviously they must be strong reasons to drive such a draconian action, but I am completely bewildered. Even from casual reading, it is evident that WMU offers the premiere I/O grad program. So, why on Earth are you closing it? And practically, where will my company, CLG, get its new "best & brightest"? There are other fine programs, but WMU, from what I know, is the top one. Please reconsider your action.

Sarah Lechago | Eliminating the I/O and Clinical programs are a terrible mistake that will impait the Behavior Analysis program in time, and the University overall. In addition, these programs provide very valuable services to Kalamazoo and surrounding communities.
