Comments: The completetion of this project will affect the rural aspect of our communities, decrease our property values, and negatively affect the environment, all in order fatten the wallets of a big utility who fast tracked the project without proper public input. This really shows that they care not at all for the affected people or environment. - Affected Property Owner

Comments: It seems that this project is trying to be rushed through without the public being aware of it. Few local people know about it. It is not needed for our area !!!

Comments: It needs to be pointed out that there will be lights placed on top of the new 180 + foot high towers so that airplanes will avoid crashing into them. These lights will be a form of pollution that will destroy the quality of life in the neighborhoods located along the route. Most residents who live along the route chose to live where they live because they want the night to be dark. Had they desired the night to be lighted, they would have purchased homes in a city where light polution is a way of life and desired by the city residents.

Comments: We are strongly against the power lines. They should try and find alternate ways to provide the needed energy without using coal burning plants. They did not do their due deligence and this is what got them in this predictament. Stop this nonsense! Find alternate energy sources. They are out there. Instead of investing your (our) monies in this project invest in the future.

Comments: The public utilities need to address the growing demand for electricity and restructure the power grid problem with approaches that are more respectful of ecology, the people's health, property owner's investment, 'viewshed', and safety.

Comments: This project will result in significant decreases to my property value and, more importantly, will expose my family to potential health risks as there are no studies assessing EMF effects for voltage of exceeding 700K volts.

Comments: How can anyone in their right mind put these lines near an elementary school, athletic field or recreational park. This is irresponsible. As adults we need to fight to kept venues safe for our children to learn and play, especially OUTDOORS.

Comments: AGAIN BIG BUSINESS TAKES ADVANTAGE OF OUR CITIZENS WITHOUT ANY REGARD FOR THE OUR HEALTH OR THE DEVALUATION OF OUR HOMES!! IN TODAYS DAY AND AGE BIG BUSINESS SHOULD BE THINKING ABOUT HOW TO SAVE AND BEAUTIFY, NOT DESTROY THE BEAUTY WE HAVE HERE IN NORTHERN NJ. WHY CAN'T STUDIES BE DONE ON EMF READINGS AND WHAT EFFECTS IT HAS ON PEOPLE AND OUR PLANET WHY CAN'T THESE LINES BE RUN UNDERGROUND I AM A REALTOR AND KNOW FIRST HAND THAT POWER LINES DO DEVALUE OUR HOMES!! I PURCHASED MY HOME IN FREDON IN 2004 BECAUSE OF THE BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND PAYED A PREMIUM PRICE FOR MY LOT BECAUSE OF THE SERENE AND PANORAMIC VIEWS. NOW JCP&L INTENDS TO DESTROY THE VALUE OF MY HOME BY GIVING ME NEW PANORAMIC VIEWS OF 180 FOOT HIGH TENSION TOWERS !! I WILL FIGHT THE BUILDING OF THESE HIGH TENSION TOWERS TO THE END!!!
