A Middle School Counselor for Cabrillo, Ocean Shore and Vallemar A petition of the Vallemar, Ocean Shore and Cabrillo Schools Addressed to the Pacifica School District Board We the undersigned would like to bring your attention to the following problem, with recommendation(s): The three Pacifica k-8 programs are in need of counseling support for their middle school students. Students at these sites experience challenges in their academic and personal pursuits that require comprehensive counseling support. This support must come from a knowledgeable and professionally trained counselor. The School District Board has acknowledged the need for counseling support for all Pacifica middle school students. We ask the Pacifica School District Board to consider funding a counselor to be shared by the school communities of Cabrillo, Ocean Shore and Vallemar.
