The sanctity of youth and innocence has been in the balance for the last generation or more. With every generation the moral decline degeneration of right living versus 'free choice' has become nothing more than an obvious push for a wicked and perverse lifestyle that is unnatural and learned through introduction and suggestion. Moral decline in America is at an all time low and must be fought against now for the peace and sanity of our future generations. Therefore, MTV, Columbia Records, The Matrix Group, and all others, we hereby put forth this petition with its signatures as representations of the thousands of families that are apalled by the music and formats of the day. The examples that are being put forth in this generation and venerated by your organizations are now unacceptable to a balanced American family life. Songs such as "I kissed a girl" (Katy Perry, 2008) are only a part of an unacceptable venue of lyrics that have been bombarding the thoughts and minds of otherwise normally adjusted children and resulting in chaos between families and their children. We, as represented by the undersigned, are signing this petition in order to give you the first opprotunity to correct this issue by special labeling or some type of child proofing method that is acceptable to these families and this organization. If our message is taken lightly and despised by your organizations, we, again as the undersigned, have full intention to take this matter to our state and federal governmental officers and representatives in order to obtain some type of parental and public ratings where lyrics, videos, and 'lifestyles' are to only be promoted to those who are specifically interested. Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration for the sanctity of our youth and the American family. Sincerely, Matthew Nichols and the PSCI undersigned
