There have been rumors about emulators for the PS1 and PS2 games that are going to be released on Sony's brand new PS4 going around the internet since January, I think that months later we deserve to have the software, or at the least some sort of statement saying yes, we're still working on it and it should be here by xx/xx/xxxx . This pettition is to communicate to Sony that the PS4 community is VERY interested in playing their old games, and the quicker Sony puts THEIR time and money on these emulators, the faster WE the community put OUR time and money into these emulators.
The current PS4 library is extremely limited, even the indie games are in need with only some of the most popular ones like don't starve and Minecraft making an appearance. Adding more than a decade of developed franchises and hit one offs like the original spyo games, ratchet and clank, metal gear, resident evil, sly cooper, Jak and daxter, star wars battlefront, many final fantasy games, twisted metal, bandicoot kazooey, ray man, crash bandicoot, mortal combats, gauntlet, disgaea, burnout, sports games, and many more great titles await the wallets of Sony's loyal paying customers.
The more people that sign this pettition, the quicker we get these awesome long lost and forgotten about titles to our new systems, be it in disc form or digital download.
