This petition is in protest of Temple University's endorsement of hate speech and the personal verbal attack against the Muslim Students Association and it's members, coupled with two instances of attempted physical assault (at TUSIF event on 23 April 2012). Each signature represents a person regardless of faith, race, orientation, political affiliation, age, or otherwise, who stands up for freedom, safety, and equality for all. Each of these people condemns hate speech against anyone, and rejects the notion that a public institution that prides itself on academic progress and intellect would support such hateful, bigoted speakers, not only financially, but allowing them to use the grounds of our beloved Temple to perpetuate hate of any sort. We stand united against this and ask that Temple University addresses their actions and acknowledges their error and transgressions upon the greater student body of Temple University.
