I would say the reputation of their beloved SMU has been down for so long that they might not want to be to self-righteous. After all, the Pony Express is still living on the salary they drew during college.

    Church Affiliation & Comments: Presbyterian - Associate Reformed Please don't let these individuals have this library on their campus. Linking up with a dying denomination would be a mistake. It would be an utter travesty to have a Presidential Library adding importance and prominence to a fading religious affiliation. Presidential libraries should be in a neutral non-sectarian environment and not tied to the diminishing future prospects of fringe religious element.
