| 251 | Sydney Smith | I hope to one day attend SMU school of law and do not wish to have a Bush library at the school I attend. |
| 252 | Dale Babcock | NBUMC - Kennesaw, GA |
| 253 | Angela Gay Kinkead | United Methodist in

| 254 | Anonymous | As a graduate of SMU I cannot object enough to having SMU associated with a President who has done the most to divide this country of any modern day politician. |
| 255 | susan wiley | Nocurent afiliation.
Brother is Methodist minister at Pittman Park Methodist Church in Statesboro, Ga. |
| 256 | Eric Dickerson | Nigger please, do you know how much money these hipocrites paid me and others to play football at their holy institution, the people signing this petition were in the stands cheering in th 80's |
| 257 | Bruce LaVal | SMU Class of 1968 |
| 258 | Johnny K | HFUMC- It would be an honor to have a presidential library at a UM location and I am ashamed to be fellow UMC members with so many of these people. |
| 259 | Christopher Cantrell | SMU Graduate spring 1984
Simply put, the George W. Bush library and think tank being establised at SMU would be a disaster for the Univeristy and it's reputation. Just say no ! |
| 260 | Loretta P. Bowman | I have attended Killearn United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, FL, for 13 years. I am totally opposed to the prospect of the Bush library being connected in any way to the United Methodist Church. |
| 261 | Anonymous | My mother, Esther Whitlock Finn, who died in 1964, was a dedicated Southern Methodist. In her name I object very strongly to linking Southern Methodist University to the George W. Bush library. She would had ridiculed the idea of any university-linked institution hiring so-called scholars to push a particular set of ideas. I can picture her tapping her finger on the Methodist Discipline and detailing the number of ways GWB fails to display any rational ideas, let alone Southern Methodist ideas. |
| 262 | Anonymous | none. |
| 263 | Madison Jechow | I have no affiliation with either SMU or the Methodist church. But I write as one who has ended my affiliation with a Presbyterian church in Texas because so few Christians have objected to the immorality of the United States' invasion of Iraq. In 2005 and 2006, I heard more sermons on the dangers of a book and movie - The DaVinci Code - than on the dangers of political leaders who mislead their citizens into military action (in which civilians always suffer) and who steer war contracts to corporations with which they have been affiliated. Thank you for being among the few Christians who are willing to stand against warmongers and war profiteers. |

| 265 | Christina Clark | No affiliation |
| 266 | Anonymous | Baptist |
| 267 | Timothy Harrigan | Heritage UMC, Clearwater, FL
I think you guys need to find something else to do. This has nothing to do with being Methodist, and it is nothing but a political stunt. Let me remind you pharisees about what Paul says in Romans 13, but then again, I don't think you've read it. This is also fueled by the faculty at SMU, who just need to do their job, and keep their opinions to themselves. If they wish to opine, then quit their jobs, write a book that will surely linger at the bottom of Amazon's list. BTW, I'll email the press if this goes anywhere, and ask them to check out the dissenters, who are against this folly... |

Haltom City, Texas |
| 271 | Troy Williams | I affiliate with the Baptist church, however I am an SMU graduate class of 1995. |

| 273 | megquiel mccrady | Bush has gotten thousands of people killed not just americans he do not deserve a library |
| 274 | Anonymous | United Methodist |
| 275 | Courtney | Forest Park United Methodist Church
Fort Wayne, IN |
| 276 | Barry Mitchell | Methodist. I believe that the future evaluation of George W. Bush, his administration and their place in America's history will be an eternal embarassment to SMU if the Library is located there. |
| 277 | Jack M. Off | Yeah for the methodist. You have taken scripture and disregarded it. By allowing Homosexuals positions of authority in your denomination (I think scripture calls homosexuality and abomination) you have shown where your allegiance lies. You are no more a Christian denomination than is Scientology or mormonism. You my friends are a work of the Devil and you will recieve your punishment in due time. Stop your hatred. |

If there is any justice in the world, George W. Bush and his gang of murdering thugs--Rumsfeld, Rice, Cheney, to name a few--will one day stand trial for crimes against humanity in launching their illegal invasion of Iraq. Hundreds of thousands Iraqis, not to mention thousands of Americans, have been slaughtered in the false name of "nation-building," while the oil companies salivate and Halliburton's coffers swell. To even consider SMU as a site for the Bush library is to insult all who find the Iraq war morally repugnant and without justification. It soils the memory of all those who have died for Bush's "legacy." |
| 286 | Will Kolb | Northaven United Methodist member, Dallas, TX |
| 287 | April Weaver | Faith United Methodist Church, Kokomo, IN |
| 288 | Nicole Heintzelman | I support the opposition to this library on the SMU campus. |
| 289 | Lyle Wedemeyer | United Methodist. I am a long-time UM church member in Iowa and now Minneapolis and I totally object to the affiliation of what I consider an open-minded denomination with a close-minded conservative radical like George W. Bush. |
| 290 | Sylvia Elmore | First United Methodist
Buckhannon, WV |
| 291 | Alphonse Schilling | Pastafarian |
| 292 | Anonymous | Wallis Methodist Church SMU are you out of you Mind. |
| 293 | Lindsay Bessette | I am agnostic and I am completely against having the Bush Library here. |
| 294 | Mark Little | No current church affiliation. George W. Bush should not be commemorated with a library because of his irresponsible approach to foreign policy including but not limited to the war in Iraq which puts the United States in harm's way both abroad and domestically. |
| 295 | Kelly Garrett | Bush is the devil. |
| 296 | Michael Jordan | North United Methodist Church
Manchester, CT |
| 297 | Joey Haber | Beth Israel |
| 298 | Anonymous | Be advised that President Bush does not attend the Methodist Church in DC, rather he donates to and regularly attends St. John's Lafayette Square,an Episcopal Church. However, we don't want his papers either. |
| 299 | Dimitre Andonov | Bulgarian Orthodox Church |
| 300 | Brent Ritchey | Methodist. You should not allow Methodists, and SMU, to be linked to what has become one of the most corrupt and incompetent administrations in this nation's history. We deserve better |
