Final supporters
Colorado Trout Unlimited, a non-profit conservation organization, is renewing its effort to create the Protect Our Rivers license plate for the 2013 legislative session!
Theplate will be available to all CO residents through a tax-deductible contribution of $25 to Colorado Trout Unlimited and 100% of the funds will be used locally to protect, conserve and restore Colorado rivers. For more information, please visit the Colorado TU website.
Signing this petition indicates your interest in obtaining the Protect Our Rivers license plate. It does not obligate you to purchase the plate.
Senators Andy Kerr (D) and Randy Baumgardner (R) are the co-sponsors in the Senate. Representatives Millie Hamner (D) and Jared Wright (R) are the co-sponsors in the House. We hit 2,500 signatures today. My eyes are tired from staring at the screen but seeing this kind of response keeps me going through the long legislative work ahead.

The climb toward one thousand signatures is grueling but we need that specific threshold to show the legislature we are serious. I am exhausted by this process yet I cannot afford to stop now when we are within reach of our goal.

Love trout fishing in the valley. Anything helps keep the water clean and the fish happy. Thanks for doing this.
Living here my whole life I know how much those rivers need us. Please get this plate going so I can rep it on my truck!

awesome idea. our CO rivers are the best part of this state and they definitely need more protection.
