| 153 | Andre Orybkiewicz | Is Al Gore involved in this project?
Did the settlers left any pictures of the area? Maybe Native Americans have some?
We do not want to make any mistakes....maybe there is a video footage of the 17th century Edgebrook woods? Do we know how it looked then? |

| 175 | ALLAN D. BROWN | THESE PEOPLE OUGHT TO GET A LIFE AND JOIN THE 21ST. CENTURY. LEAVE THE OLD TREES AND THE WILDLIFE ALONE. SOME UNDERBRUSH CLEANING IS O.K. ALONG WITH REMOVAL OF
DISEASED OR FALLEN TREES. THE PARK DISTRICT WOULD DO BETTER TO RID BUNKER HILL OF THE GANG-BANGERS, GRAFFITI AND OTHER UNDESIRABLES. |

| 183 | Jim Quinn | Burning brush and leaves is illegal in most urban areas and should be stopped. Herbicides are also toxic and remain in the soil. cutting trees, bushes, cause an increase in pollution and raise the tempeerature in the summer and cause cooler temps in the winter and should be stopped |

| 186 | Robyn Frandemo | Who cares what the forest was like years ago. we moved here as we love the trees and wildlife. Think of all the animals that will be disturbed by your burnings. I think as residents in the area and taxpayers we should be able to vote on this. they probably want to burn it done and build homes there for extra revenue.STOP being so greedy. |
| 187 | Michael Orybkiewicz | The forest preserve down the street from my house was like a second home for me when I was growing up. I spent countless hours there playing with my friends. I have an emotional connection with the place and I would absolutely hate to see it gone. |

| 194 | Louise Williams | STOP BURNING!!! |
| 195 | John P. Williams | No! This form of "Preservation" is hokem and based on make work programs. They have the money from the federal govt, state, and county so they are finding a way to use it. Not in my back yard please! If there is a problem with "non-native" species - we need to find a community level way to deal with it. Not a centrally managed cutting/burning machine. |

| 197 | Anonymous | Does it make sense to burn down a forest to create a prairie? |
| 198 | Pamela Schmidt | I bike through the forest preserves and enjoy nature very much. Please stop the burning - its just WRONG. |
| 199 | Kelly York | Save the money and cut the work! Our cook county can’t afford this any way. Not to mention the Deer and other wildlife, that keeps coming in to our neighborhood looking for food and shelter. If you would like I’ll send you pictures of the deer eating my pumpkins around Halloween. |
