A child is an innocent being, and if a child's parents or family members can not protect them, then we the public have to request that the government step in and protect them from harmful second hand smoke. It should be unlawful to smoke within 50 feet of your children. Children expect us as parents to protect them from things that will cause them harm, and not only does it physically harm our children when we smoke around them it emotional harms them as well when their friends can smell cigarette smoke on them.
