I would like to raise awareness against squatters rights towards the disabled and elderly. It seems if you move in for 48 hours and establish a address at someones home they have to evict you by law. This seems to be a major epidemic towards people with disabilities and elderly. I know of a gentleman who is a C 3-4 quad and is now on a vent trying to come home and the person who he allowed to stay a few nights in his home refuses to leave even though the disable gentleman has told him and so has the family. They need the extra room to house a live in care provider as he now needs 24 hour care. So now instead of coming home to die with dignity he has to evict this man. Battle of his life and evicting someone from his home... how is this fair... So what I would like to have done is make it so if you do have a squatter then you only need to serve them 48 hour notice the same amount of time they need to establish the residence. Or if they fear for thier safety then 24 hours eviction.
