Name: Anonymous on Feb 22, 2009Comments: Furthermore, there must be an amnesty for all the wrongdoings and problems purchasers have been forced to suffer. We have been mislead and mis-sold and FORCED to commit illegalities for which we had NO IDEA due to some criminal emlaks and developers. Any retrospective fines and legal enforcements upon mislead purchasers as a result of being mislead will cause gross resentment toward the relevant authorities and the selling of foriegn-owned property. This will cause the removal of further foreign investment and a surplus of empty housing.Flag

Name: Steve Smith on Feb 23, 2009Comments: Turkish property is overpriced for foreigners by at least 50%. We have all bought rapidly depreciating assets. I remortgaged my house in the UK now I cannot afford the payments due to the credit crunch! I want out and I want compensated, it is the entire Turks fault. I bought from a reputable waiter in a bar and still got fleeced. My TAPU does not state the correct value as I was told this would save both of us tax, it’s a minefield!Flag
