Comments: The terminations of both Wendy Wang and Jocelyn Valez were carried out in a way that was not consistent with the spirit of FOUR's contract. In the case of Valez, it was a blatant violation of the conditions of the contract that require that progressive discipline be taken.

Comments: As a trade unionist, I expect unions, in their capacity as employers, to demonstrate the type of labour relations practices that the labour movement demands of capitalist, state and not for profits employers. UNITE HERE's managers and leaders do not want to earn the designation of "union boss" or to be seen as hypocrites on not treating labour with the dignity and respect that is due to it. It is time to WALK THE WALK!!!!!

Comments: shame on UNITEHERE!!!! instead of addressing these injustices your actions perpetuate a culture of exclusion for anyone interested in getting involved in the labour movement but especially towards racialized workers who you purport to advocate on behalf JUSTICE NOW!!!

Comments: These kind of actions hurt the principle of our job, to be sure that workers receive a fair treatment in their workplace. Is absolutely ridiculous that we have to witness these in our own house. As a organizer my commitment is to Unite Here but over everything my commitment is to justice, I'm only hoping that whoever is in charge doesn't forget how we get in where we are now, that everybody at some point was a worker, and for most of us we still workers. Hasta la Victoria Siempre.
