| 101 | suzanne sykes | I am absolutely against the building plan for housing in Crystal Palace Park. The park is for public use and not to make a profit from the land given to the people. |

| 103 | kathhleen edwards | I live in Crystal Palace Park Road and specifically moved to the area because of the Park. I DO NOT want to see private houses and flats in the Park. London has a limited number of Parks as it is! |

| 110 | Iker Korta Lasarte | More green spaces for London instead!!!! |
| 111 | Julia East | I hear that the plan for housing on the park is in order to pay for the park. This is nonsense – trees and grass do not cost much in upkeep. Once bits of park are sold off they will never be bits of park again. There are far too few large areas of parkland in south london as it is and with the sports centre now staying as much as possible should be left as parkland. |
| 112 | Annabel O'Docherty | I am a regular user of Crystal Palace Park with my toddler and friends, and consider it a very valuable local resource and welcome 'green lung'. It is a very weel-used and busy park, and we cannot afford to lose any of it, nor should we even have to contemplate it. I am dismayed and disgusted that once again it would appear that planners are giving the interests of private business priority over the rights of the local population. The squeezing of our green spaces creeps on... |
| 113 | Vani Viswanathan | No building please on this beautiful park. Dont dont destroy this marvellous area but add to its charm by providing more fun things for our youths.... |
| 114 | Marc Rodrigo | I am completely opposed to the selling of our local public parkland to private developers, under the guise of funding park 'development'.
I have no faith in any authority which allows this to go ahead and since there are so many people against it, only a corrupt LDA would ignore the views of the people in favour of money wielding developers. |
| 115 | Gaynor Mullane | |
| 116 | Mike Warwick | With the reality of global warming upon us, every square inch of greenery is vital. The UK has 4.4 million asthma sufferers, the largest in Europe, including many young children. All Parks should enjoy National Park Status, and protection from sell-off for residential and commercial development. The spurious justification offered by the LDA of sale of land to raise money for park inprovements is a Trogan Horse strategy, that if successful, will establish a precedent threatening not only Crystal Palace Park but all UK parks and green open spaces.Future generations will ask "How did this happen?" "Who were they who allowed this to happen?" WE ARE THOSE PEOPLE. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN. ACT NOW. Remember: Activism is our justification for being on the planet. |

| 118 | russell caesar | I am strongly against any private housing being built on park land. This is unheard of and could set a very worrying president. The park is a special place for all people to visit and only a very small fraction of those people would ever be able to afford the housing being proposed causing possible friction within the community. There must be some way the LDA can go forward with plans for the park without cutting a massive part out of it for profit. |

| 121 | neil mann | Most London commons have been menaced by developers hoping for a quick profit. Fortunatly common sense has prevailed. London is overcrowded as it is with very little common land. Where will children play is just one question |
| 122 | Dolores Read | The Park shoud be kept intact an integral for our future generations. It is a terrible mistake to sell part of the parkland to a developers. They will be the ones to make most of the profit after selling the flats. Please find other ways for the funding. |
| 123 | Catrina Cattigan | Parks are public spaces for now & the future & should not have any housing devlopment. In London where we are densely packed together parks are the lungs which enable us to cope with crowded city life & preserve our sanity! |

| 125 | Suzanne Creighton | I am a local resident too, and I object to the proposal to building housing in Crystal Palace park on 3 grounds.
1.It is a fundamental error of principle to construct private dwellings on land held in common by the people as recreational land; for exercise, culture and entertainment. Permitting this would place all parks in the UK under permanent threat of extinction by building constructors .
2.The Park is already surrounded by housing built by the Crystal Palace Company on: Ledrington Road;Thicket Road and Crystal Palace Park Road, these buildings form an historially cohesive backdrop to the park. This microcosm of High Victorian family housing ranging from workers flats and terraces e.g. Carlton Lodge and Keston Lodge to substantial middle class home like Leewood, form a border to the park which is integral to the original Crystal Palce vision and should be preserved and enhanced rather than destroyed.
Thirdly, the Park was saved in the early 20th century by the Earl of Portsmouth who brought at auction in order to preserve it from housing construction, he gave it to the City of London and County Council to preserve as an amenity for the people, so any money raised of sale of the land should be paid to the descendents of the Earl of Portmouth |

| 128 | Neil Jeffries | I have read of plans for 5-storey flat blocks on the land which is currently part of Crystal Palace Park and strongly object to this proposal. |
| 129 | Anonymous | No buidings in a public park because it's a great green area in south est of London, known for its national sport centre, for its majesty.
We trust that no one could build in the nearest future in this park.
We have to preserve green spaces, not destoy them. |

| 133 | sharon rubin | I am very much against the plans of building property in crystal palace park. |
| 134 | Saul Fowler | I'm horrified that more green space in London will be sold off to provide housing. I'm definately opposed to the scheme. |
| 135 | Stephanie Lodge | I register my absolute objection to ANY development of housing in whatever manner on Crystal Palace Park. It is a fine example of Grand Theft of a people's park and it doesn't belong to LDA or any other corporate body. It belongs to the people of London, especially SE and SW London.
Message to LDA: LEAVE OUR PARKS ALONE!
I'm very sorry but I can't make it any plainer.
Yours sincerely,
Stephanie Lodge |
