Name: Lorraine Makson on Nov 21, 2012Comments: My bariatric surgeon has referred me to Dr Nandagopal as a top plastic surgeon specialized in the skin of bariatric patients. As a taxpayer I should be able to choose my surgeon as I can in any other types of surgeries. My postal code should not dictate my surgeon.Flag

Name: Robin Haliuk on Nov 21, 2012Comments: as a paying citizen of this country it os offensive that you shall even consider restricting services to only your area. As a northern Ontario resident accessing services is often our only option and by you limiting you are excluding access to healthcare to many!Flag

Name: Audra-Lee Zeats on Nov 21, 2012Comments: Dr. Nanda is a kind and compassionate man and after several consults with other plastic surgeons, I felt that he was the right doctor for me. I'm the one that travelled two hours one way and spent a lot of money on gas, parking at the hospital and also lunch at the hospital. It was a totally of seven trips that I paid for. It was my choice, so why are you taking that choice away from others that are willing to travel the distance and pay the costs associated with it??Flag

Name: Dana Harrison on Nov 22, 2012Comments: Dr. Nandogopal is one of the most kind and compassionate medical professionals I have met in my life. After consults with other Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Nan was clearly my Surgeon of Choice. After losing 140 pounds and having several other abdominal surgeries, my panni was causing me extensive, ongoing issues. Dr. Nan was honest and forthright about what I could expect as an outcome. I could not be happier with the results he achieved. I travelled several times to see him, and that was my choice. Just like it was my choice to travel 4 hours to the same hospital to have the Orthopedic Surgeon of my choice. Why should Dr. Nandogopal be treated any differently? We, as patients and consumers of OHIP, should be able to chose our surgeon based on their skills, instead of having a surgeon chosen for us based on our postal code.Flag

Name: Sheri R Pendlebury on Nov 23, 2012Comments: Just had OHIP panni and selfpay arms with Dr. Nanda and he was wonderful and so was his team. Cutting his access should not be by postal code as he is the best there is! I am so grateful to him and his team!Flag

Name: Patricia Baxter on Nov 23, 2012Comments: It is very important that someone with his experience can continue to operate on patients with large weight loss. Our skin is different than those with just "cosmetic" surgery and can often cause severe rashes and has been stretched a great deal. After much hard work losing the weight this surgery is the final part of the weight loss program and looking and feeling "normal". The end result is not only physical but also a mental improvement in self esteem. This doctor has an excellent reputation and people have faith in his ability, which makes him in high demand.Flag
