The IB is pleased to have been selected in 2011 as one of 5 sets of standards against which the Common Core was measured by education experts to determine its success in meeting its goals. Teachers are free to provide students with tools and knowledge based on their professional judgment and experience Focus on results, rather than means. Recent research conducted by the University of Chicago demonstrates that IB students outperform their non-IB peers in admission rates, graduation rates, grade-point averages, and in college completion rates.
