We are petitioning the United Nations General Assembly ..to adopt International laws and ethics rules for the protection of earth's vital resources and the men and women who fight to preserve them.The degradation of some of the earth's most vital ecosystems recently in environmental news has reached a critical point. The deaths of conservationists trying to protect our forests have been reported and are very real. The destruction of one of the worlds oldest living rainforests, the Amazon, is shocking to say the least. It is a major tributary and very vital ecosystem which sustains our earth at a magnitude that no other can compare to. The earth's oldest and deeply rooted ecosystems need to be protected now and forever to sustain life on earth . There is documented scientific proof that changes in these vital ecosystems can cause fluctuations in the earth's warming pattern .Our oldest established ecosystems could never be restored or replaced if they are destroyed. Destruction of our rainforests is taking place at a rapid pace,this may be the last chance we have to take a stand for our earth.
