Name: Anonymous on Jan 21, 2013Comments: We have been fishing Tawakoni for over 10 years and have seen an incredible amount of fish over 10 pounds taken out of Tawakoni. Most of them were taken out by jug lines. We have seen 2 people go out and catch 40 or so fish on juglines and then come in and clean them. They then will gou out and do that again later the same day. Obviously that is illegal because they are only allowed to kepy a total of 50 a day. The problem is since they are cleaned and back at their cabin it's hard to prove. Also there are other people back at the cabin that could say they were fishing with them. I think juglines need to be restricted because most of the fish they catch are over 10 pounds and even if they get released they are usually not in greta shape and will probably die. Maybe restrct them to 10 toatl hooks, or only allow them for 1 or two monts a year. Now the noodlers are doing the same thing, by taking out way too many big spawning fish. This lake has the potential to be the so much better then it is now.Flag
