The State of Tennessee has allowed black bear hunting in the residential area of Gatlinburg, TN in Chalet Village. Many bears have grown up in that area and are no threat to anyone. I would like to have a petition signed and hopefully the state will not allow this law. Even if you have a sign up posted "No tresspassing or hunting on private property" the hunter can still bring dogs or "Tresspass" on your property if they have tracked a bear and it is on your private property. I am also afraid that these hunters using high powered rifles, muzzle loaders and archery may accidentally shoot someone. Is this what it is going to take to stop the hunting in a residential area? Please, I am asking for your support to stop hunting in this residential area.
