Comments: Mr. Liam Byrne, On my knees, I pray you will reconsider the case for deportation of Prossy Kakooza. Perhaps you are familiar with the following saying: "To the world, you just might be one person, but to one person, you just might be the whole world." I ask that you provide for Prossy's safety. Please do not send her back to Uganda. Prossy's life is PRECIOUS IN GOD'S SIGHT and literally in your hands. When one is confronted between life and death, it is always best to choose life! Thank you, Michael Desmond Member MCCGSL METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY CHURCH OF GREATER ST.LOUIS (MISSOURI, USA)

Comments: I am appalled by the parents and country of this woman. The bigotry and hatred of those who do these ungodly things to another human being is only the result of Satan's influence. The Bible says we who judge will be judged by the same manner in which we judge others. We take animals away from abusive situations, why won't the UK do the same for another human being.

Comments: I sincerely hope you realize that to ignore this individuals right to seek asylum from her home country where threats of rape, murder, and other such horrors are present is not so much of a financial issue as it is a moral and ethical issue. If this is what the UK has come to, ignoring the life and livelihood of a human being because of the issue of money then I would rather not call myself british, let alone be a british patriot. I thought that britain was an accepting and caring community that expressed empathy and was deserving on not just respect but praise, but clearly I am wrong. In all the decisions you make as a politician I as a member of the general public would like you to practice one thing, empathy. I'd like you to think about who the decisions you're making are affecting and I'd like you to think about the position you're putting them. I am a strong believer that empathy shall save us all and I hope and pray that it will make you at least consider changing your decision.

Comments: Prossy's story is horrific. Love is NOT a crime, no matter who you love. Prossy should be allowed asylum, to ensure the safety of her life. Do the right thing, the world's eyes are upon you.

Comments: How can you deny this young womyn the right to live I'm disappointed in my favorite country taking such a stance as it has! Please rethink your position by imagining this young womyn as your daughter. Would you then deny her protective status

Comments: You have the opportunity to show Uganda and the world compassion and justice and have nothing to lose in doing so. If you fail to protect this woman, you have much to lose--your humanity and any voice or standing on human rights issues. Her blood will be on your hands as much as her Ugandan persecutors.

Comments: As a Christian I can NOT accept that one human person would be subjected to such hostile abuse. As a Christian I can NOT accept one person, one community, one people, one world would send another person to a fate such as Prossy is facing. God answers my prayers, as He does yours, as He does Prossy's ... what an excellent time this is for all Christians to step up and live the life God and Jesus call us to !!! signed, Rich Kibbons, Portland, Oregon, USA
