All vehicle manuafacturers who use space saver wheels or a repair kit.
Individual drivers - Companies with a fleet of vehicles - Concerned road users.
Please reinstate the practice of using full size spare wheels in all new vehicles produced.
Space saver wheels - limited to 50mph(80kph) not practical when national speed limit in most countries is 60mph+. Should only be used as temporary measure have seen many vehicle use space saver for months. If used in this way there is more a possibility that the tyre will not take the stress and result in a blowout. Space saver wheels are not acceptable if used on a vehicle presented on a driving test.
Repair kit - Only useful if you get a puncture the size of a nail head anything bigger needs to be towed to nearest tyre shop.
ADVANTAGES OF PROPER SPARE WHEELS:
A wheel that is the same size as the other 3 on the vehicle that can be driven up to the speed limit any time any where.

Paul Coppi, United Kingdom2 years ago Comments: Having just bought a car with No spare wheel, just an inflaton kit, I was not happy. I ordered a spare, forced to have a space saver as the full size will not fit in the well. Now cannot get a space saver as they are not currently manufacturing the tyres... This is a farce and should not be allowed...
