Name: Miriah Hamrick on Mar 11, 2009Comments: This scholarship means so much to so many people in West Virginia. Kids work hard to attain it, because it guarantees their ability to afford college. A cap could decrease incentive to do well in school, and also could hinder some students from being able to go to college. It should not be capped.Flag

Name: Madison on Mar 11, 2009Comments: I have received the promise scholarship for the past 4 years. It is the sole reason that I decided to stay in state for my college education. I had good grades in high school and would have gone to an out of state school, EXCEPT, the promise scholarship was too good to pass up. Keep hard-working students in state, keep the promise scholarship as it is!Flag
