| 1165 | Amy Marlin | We definitely need more assistance for working moms, especially if she is a single working mom!! |
| 1166 | MMORRIS | I AGREE WITH THIS. THERE ARE SO MANY ISSUES THAT FACE WORKING MOTHERS TRYING TO RE-ROUTE THEIR TRACK AND GO BACK TO SCHOOL TO OBTAIN A DEGREE. BUT THE FINANCIAL BURDEN IS NOT ONLY HEAVY BUT CAN BECOME DISCOURAGING.THAT IS WHY I APPLIED FOR THIS SCHOLORSHIP. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT!!! IAM A SENIOR IN COLLEGE RIGHT NOW. AND AFTER STRUGGLING ALL THIS TIME GOIN PART TIME FOR THE LAST SIX YEARS OF MY LIFE. I HAD TO FACE THE HARSH REALITY THAT AFTER THIS SEMESTER,I WILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO FINISH.
I HAVE USED UP MY SAVING
BECAUSE OF TUITION COST AND NO FINANCIAL AIDE ASSISTANCE.
IN AMERICA, I FEEL I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN, MY EDUCATION AND FEEDING MY CHILDREN. I SUPPORT THIS PETITION 110 PERCENT!!!!! |

| 1171 | Anonymous | Yes, I would like to learn more about the Project Working Mom Petition. |
| 1172 | Anonymous | I think that many single moms put there education on hold for their children so to think that there is not enough money to go around for them is sad. Yes the kids need it to but maybe split more evenly between the two. |

| 1177 | Claudette Jefferson | The working moms of this country need help. All single parents need our country to help them with the expenses of school. My daughter is going for her masters degree and she is a single mom working full time as a supervisor at embark and she is raising 2 children and just found out her oldest child has ADHD ? and he is in his senior year. Besides her loans she had to take out a loan to send him to Sylvan learning center this last year to assure that he graduates. She is fighting to hold on to a good life for her kids but with the big 75.00 a month child support she get its not easy. |
| 1178 | Claudette Jefferson | I agree with all of the above statements |

| 1186 | Anonymous | As an older Mom ... with no formal college education - I am at an extreme disadvantage in going out into the work force again after many years. |
| 1187 | Anonymous | Mothers are the ones giving brith to the children of the future. Don't you think they need to be educated to prepare these children, that one day may be our nation leaders. |

| 1191 | Melanie Farquer | Working mothers need more financial assistance for school. Perhaps drug companies could put up scholarships, etc. for healthcare degrees. |
