Melissa PuentesSingle women like me need the funds to help get ahead in education. Some of us are one paycheck away from the welfare line. The funds needed for education would give us a hand up, self esteem, and open career opportunities so that we can provide for families.
TImika ManghamWe need need FEDERAL ACTION NOW! Many families are already in crisis, higher education, will help secure soild foundations in many familes.

AnonymousI am an educator and a working mom who will not be able to further my education without some type of financial help. It is very important for the governement to provide some type of assistance to those adults who have the desire to further their eucation, and ultimatley make a great contribution to the advancement of society!
AnonymousI don't much about your project. However, it seems like something to really help single moms. My daughter is a single working Mom with 2 boys she is raising and trying to give them the best education as well as herself. She works for the state but the cost of living is so high, she can't hardly make it but she refuse to give up. At the time, I have a (which I am truly blessed) very good paying job. I try to help her out as much as I can, but this to is hitting my pockets. I work to support me and my husband who is sick and at the same time hate to see her struggling so hard (which she knows that if she don't no one else will). She is trying so hard to keep going and she loves her job and is thankful for it, but wishes that she had a better pay. She has been working and attending college. She would very much like to continue her education in government. I realize her dreams is to be a successful single mom and obtain her master degree to obtain better high paying job to meet ends as well as to be able to put her sons through school and hopefull through college.

Tammy MorseThere simply needs to be more financial aid for working moms. The money we earn at our jobs is exhausted on maintaining our households and providing for the needs of our children. We want to be remain competent in the workforce and this means keeping up with trends, continuing education, etc. This is very important not only for ourselves, but our families. We want to be good role models for our children.
CandyI am very concerned that as single mothers more has not been done to help us with getting s college education.

Lynne KiwczakWhen we have to pay for children's college, it is difficult for us to finish our degrees - we would like you to help all of the population who wish to advance themselves - this way the US will be able become a country of well educated, employable citizens. Give everyone the opportunity to attain a degree. Don't make it difficult make it affordable for everyone.
