Beverly Schmitt | In today's economy, it is not unusual for someone to have 2-3 professional careers. Do NOT limit a woman's chance to provide for herself and her family. I have homeschooled my daughters for the last 17 years along with 14 other children that were not my own. I have a masters degree in social work, but the opportunities in my area are slim to none especially since I had to put my career on hold to raise my children. I am one of those moms that needs to get back out in the workforce. Without a federal grant, further education for me is simply impossible.
Val Gamble | Education should be FREE to all americans! Give working moms (the hardest working people of all) a chance to better themselves!

Sally Letherman | College immediately after high school is not possible for many Americans. It is important to have offer opportunities for working parents to continue to seek higher education without endangering their family's financial welfare to do so.

Elaine Chavez | As Opra has aired that over 75% of America's poor are that of single mom's who are trying to get a hand up. Let start by helping these mom's get an education and start a new life cycle of education in America.

Teresa Lynn Sanchez | There needs to be more available funding for single working mothers to continue their educations, enabling them to better themselves and the lives of their children. By furthering their education they can set a good example for their kids. As everyone knows, children follow the example of their parent and it's kind of tough to convey the importance and benefits of going as far as one can in their education if the parent they reside with never had the chance to or was prevented from attending a higher institution of learning simply because they could not afford it.Thank You.
Alyssa Belfield | I recently had to withdrawn from class because of finances. I had an outstanding balance due to my online school that I wasnt able to pay. I was once class shy of graduation.

Casey Mays | Today's economy is failing due to lack of education. The cause for this lack of education is that most Americans are raising kids and barely getting by on their wages. I f there was more funding for working mothers, the economy would benefit greatly. WE NEED A CHANCE TO REACH OUR FULL POTENTIAL TOO.

Anonymous | There need to be more funds available for working moms to be able to go back to school to pursue their education. Like myself, alot of working moms put their own needs on the back burner to help others and forget about their own needs. When it is the right time to pursue their education it is almost impossible with the cost so high and the economy so bad. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for working mothers to be able to further their education.

Goldie Hendricks | Hard working mothers would love the opportunity to be able to further their educations just like the young kids fresh out of High School but the difference between the two is simple; kids fresh out of High School going to college usually flunk out in the first semester due to "partying" and do not realize at that young of an age the value that education will bring to their lives; simply put, they do not appreciate it. Working mothers, on the other hand, knows what that education can do for them and their families so they work harder and most receive high marks; simply put, they do appreciate it and value its worth as if it were priceless...which it is for them.
