| 201 | John McAuliff | Obama's position on Cuba is a reasonable beginning. He will end all restrictions on travel and remittances by Cuban Americans. He will negotiate with President Raul Castro without preconditions.
Regrettably Senator' Clinton's position on Cuba is not much different than President Bush's, and less than the policy followed by her husband.
The missing Bill Clinton piece is non-tourist "purposeful" travel for study and people to people exchanges.
Obama could solidify his position and Clinton could redeem hers by addressing this issue.

But he is our only chance - |

| 240 | Richard Wood | My support for Obama is enthusiastic, but critical, especially on the Iraq war, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Chavez in Venezuela, etc...but I support this initaitive wholeheartedly. I am a sociology faculty at DeAnza College, in Cupertino, CA and an anti-war and social justice activist since Vietnam days.. Thank you for this effort. |
| 241 | Carol Weinshenker | I am very concerned that since his entry into the presidental race he has been remiss in recognizing the plight of the Palestinean people. In his desire to get the Jewish vote (I am Jewish) he has completely dismissed the occupation by Israel of Palestine. I recognize that Barack Obama will be a far better president thatn either Clinton or especially McCain and I support him reluctantly as a progressive. I hope that he can be persueded to recognize the damage that Israel has done to Palestine. |
