Missouri Revised Statutes Chapter 288 Employment Security August 28, 2012 Title of law. 288.010. This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Missouri Employment Security Law". (b) The claimant is temporarily unemployed through no fault of his or her own and has a definite recall date within eight weeks of his or her first day of unemployment; however, upon application of the employer responsible for the claimant's unemployment, such eight-week period may be extended not to exceed a total of sixteen weeks at the discretion of the director;

from year to year against seasonal workers, The 8 week return to work date does not apply to the length of time between school years, start and end. When the return to work date falls within the sixteen weeks. School Bus Drivers should not need to commit swearing a false oath for work search contacts to get unemployment payments. We have return to work dates, we have jobs and we need Professional Recognition for a hassle free process. This Petition is Asking to amend the unemployment claim with an occupation code and return to work date within the 16 weeks. This will not hinder the 14 day verification process.
