| 2 | Haydee | Cuza | CA | US | I have enjoyed and supported KPFK for the last several months because of the diverse programing available... in fact I would like to see even more youth (gang labeled) and under-represented people of color bring forth issues of the ghetto and the life of the poor in Los Angeles. Ms. Georgia is doing a wonderful job of balancing the diverse community of L.A. and I am proud to be a sponsor of the current programming.
Thank you. |

| 14 | edunow | edunow | CA | US | We believe that this conflict needs to be examined and addressed before a fair and just review of the General Manager can be undertaken. We also believe that any review process that does not include such an examination will cause further damage to the KPFK and Pacifica communities, including, but not limited to, the alienation of youth and communities of color who have most benefited from the changes brought to KPFK's programming by Ms. Georgia. |

| 16 | Denise | Robb | CA | US | I love the direction KPFK is going in. Thanks to Eva for her hard work. You brought back the programs I missed so much and it is truly refreshing to hear the new programs as well. Big thumbs up for current programming at KPFK. -Denise Robb, subscriber, film club member, activist |

| 23 | Jim | Bean | CA | US | I like the programing since the "Take Back KPFK" succeeded. Please keep Ms. Georgia as GM. |
| 24 | Bill | Gallegos | CA | US | I have already sent my comments to Dan Coughlin and Leslie Cagan. This injustice cannot be permitted. Too many people fought for too long to go backward now. |
| 25 | Valerie | Shaw | CA | US | Does anyone listen to people anymore? Or are we living in an era of "let them eat cake"? |
| 26 | Teri | Yamada | CA | | I think Georgia has done a 'terrific" job. Note the incredible fund drives during her tenure. We vote with our money. KPFK listeners have shown tremendous support for the ethnic diversity in programming that Eva Geroge has implemented. |

| 33 | James | Keefas, Ph.D. | CA | US | I agree that the changes that have taken place within KPFK are progressive and much needed. |
| 34 | Sergio | Monteiro | CA | US | I suspect that the Ed Coughlin is either
naive or is misleading the listener's
community regarding his intentions.
Whatever is the case I am all the way
behind Ms. Eva Georgia. I am now and
bave been for many years a listener and
supporter of the station (except during the
dispute with the national board, when I
contributed to the fund for the legal
dispute). Again I strongly urge KPFK and
the national board to keep Ms. Georgia
AND to restore her power within KPFK that
bas been chipped out.
Sergio Monteiro
listener and supporter
I hope you will sign the petition below or
otherwise indicate to ED Coughlin that
you like what you hear and that KPFK's
listeners are willing to share power over
their community airwaves with people of
color that, like you, subscribe to Pacifica's
Mission of dialogue to resolve
misunderstandings. |
| 35 | Howard | Ward | CA | US | Everytime I've heard Eva speak on the air, she always shows she's more than willing to listen to everyone. She seems quite open minded and quite capable. I also appreciated that she attends lab meetings. In short, I think she has a great attitude, and seems quite capable.
Sincerely,
Howard Ward
Long-time KPFK subscriber. |

| 43 | Eleanor | Kuser | CA | US | I was a supporter of Free Pacifica Campaign and have been listener/sponsor for 20+ years. I like many of the changes I'm seeing/hearing on KPFK since Eva George has been GM. In the recent fund drive when I came to help at phone room I noticed some "regular" staff members were missing that my 7 yr old son and I are quite fond of and was concerned when I learned that they had left over friction with the GM Eva George - I don't know any more specifics other than that. Because those people were no longer at the station the organization of the phone room and the premium books seemed quite disorganized. I hope this all gets resolved amicably. |
