Name: Jennifer on Jun 30, 2008Comments: It would be awesome to see the j-rock community here on the East coast (and even what would sometime call the mid-west/east area- kinda the far end of each side of the country ) more frequently as I love a lot of J-rock and even the j-pop, but sadly I only get to catch the performances if by chance the groups make a appearance at the two bigger anime cons I go to that i can afford to travel to, ACEN and AWA. It would be nice to be able to go see the concert at a place in my home state of Michigan here, where very few acts from overseas ever come to perform. You have a pretty avid community of fans here in the Great Lakes area (Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin..) who would probably love the idea of not having to spend $700 dollars to book a flight to the other side of the country just to see you. And in these times, where many of consider these forms of entertainment and the chance to meet those artists live, a chance to get away, even for a few hours the pain of the current state of the economy and other troubles. For some it's a treat to see these artists, since many make so few or rare stateside appearances, many attached the larger anime cons. I for a fact considered it the icing on the cake, when I last year (2007) saw my first j-rock band live at ACEN 10, which happened to High and Mighty Color with Spiral Spiders as the opening act. This happened to be my first time traveling to a con out of state as well and to get the chance to see one of my favorite bands at that same con was the greatest experience I ever had. I wish I could have that experience more often...Flag

Name: Stephen Gillespie on Jul 14, 2008Comments: Our bands tour their country and try to hit as much of it as they can, so why aren't we afforded the same opportunity to see the bands we want to see just because we don't live in the right part of the country Granted we are a MUCH larger country, but it's the principle behind it. There are fans here too!Flag
