Name: Matthew Styles on Jan 28, 2013Comments: This is something the Women's Network clearly feel passionately about and we should fully support them in this work. This Policy would ensure that future Officers in the Students' Union continue to work towards an accessible choice for women and that the Students' Union continue to advise students on all of the options available to them.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 12, 2013Comments: I strongly support pro choice for women. As an irish female I condemn the pro life campaigners of ireland who utilise intimating and irrational tatics that scare women and campaigners of pro choice and disregard the wishes of the woman in vain of their (questionable) religious cause. They have no respect or concern for the right of the woman and have no regard for sexual equality. They would rather see an emotional, tramatised pregnant woman suffer than take care of her mentally and physically without judgement. Forcing women to endure a pregnancy without choice is nothing short of barbaric. There are too many unwanted children with no stable homes or parents to care for them and pro life campaigners need to address this, instead of being plain ignorant to the social problems and consequences that bringing unwanted children into the world means in reality, not to mention the long term consequences that the woman and society faces, financially, emotionally and socially.Flag
